I want to help Kaleigh....
I have reached out to Kaliegh, to find out more about her and the circumstances that brought her to Indiegogo.com. I frequent the site - because I love that they do such good work. I see dozens of requests for help everyday. Heck I even think about starting my own campaign to afford the medical treatment I need for all the wonderful side affects of a severe TBI....... but I haven't.... I guess I relate to Kaleigh because I know first hand how expensive those damn MRI's are and the medicines- forget about it. The ironic thing about the health care system - is that you have to work full time to get medical insurance, but when you have a serious ailment, that is impossible to do. It's f*%#ed up. 4 or 5 bucks may not seem like a lot.....but if everyone who read this went to Kaleigh's site - it would add up fast. I am not a praying man - but I hope with ALL my heart that the medical center accepts her and that she can get enough money to get there. Thanks for your time.
Love your fellow human beings for they are all we have.
Update 7/24 - I have had a lot of correspondence with Kaliegh, she is bright, easily likable, and has a wonderful attitude despite her condition. We have agreed that anyone who can donate in the $300 to $500 -ish range will get an original RoCo piece of their choice from my website shipped to them for free in the continental US. Just as important is taking the time to share Kaliegh's story by reposting and sharing on your sites - you never know who can help. Please please share.
Update 7/24 - I edited my statement. My wife says I swear too much.:) She is my moderator (i have no filter). Cheers!
